Today's religions appear to act as allegories for lost - 5,000 years and older - technologies of calendar-keeping, and temple-building.

T-square is an Ancient Egyptian hieroglyph for "Tau" which means "sacred gate" or "sacred opening". Multiple Taus form a temple: for example Stone Henge.
